WE WOULD LIKE TO INVITE EVERYONE TO A WELCOME HAPPY HOUR ON FRIDAY, JULY 13 FROM 4-8 PM.
The party will be held outside at a bar in the middle of a man made park in the center of Porto.
This party is at no expense to our guests. Please come and go as you please from 4-8 pm.
If you are traveling with friends or family who are not attending the wedding, please bring them!
There will be open bar and light fare. Casual dress.
LOCATION: BASE PORTO
Base Porto is right under the tallest tower in Porto. The Torres dos Clérigos (Clergy Tower), so it's hard to miss.
HERE WE GO FOLKS. WEDDING DAY.
We ask that you arrive at 4pm to The Yeatman Hotel. There will be refreshments and a live brass band for you to enjoy before the ceremony. Please arrive on time and take in the view from the stunning terrace. The ceremony and the reception are at The Yeatman. Although Google maps may make it seem like an easy walk to the venue, it is up several steep hills. We’d suggest arriving by car,’especially if you are wearing heels. Taxis are available throughout Porto as well as uber.
Dress is cocktail/semi-formal/typical wedding attire. You all know the drill. Throughout the evening you will be inside and out on the terrace. Expect temps to be in the high 70s - low 80s when you arrive and to drop through the evening to the 60s. The hotel sits on a bluff and typically has a steady breeze.

9:00 Party, DJ, dancing, drinking, late night snacks and desserts. The reception really doesn't have an end time. In fact, with the exception of the arrival time, the entire evening will flow at it's own pace. We will party on until the last person leaves the room
Dinner
You may have noticed that we did not ask you choose a meal. Dinner is a 5 course tasting menu. The hotel's chef has two Michelin stars so we are all in for a fantastic meal. Each course includes an optional wine pairing. If you didn’t mention a specific food allergy in the RSVP please send a separate email to liztim@liztim.com with your information.
After Dinner
We have a DJ and a steady flow of sweet and savory snacks for the rest of the night. Not to mention, an open bar and cake. The DJ and bartender and food will stay until the last person leaves. When it comes time for you to call it a night, you’ll be able to call an uber or taxi to go home.
