PASSPORT
You need one. If you have one, make sure that it isn't set to expire within 3 months of the travel date. If it is set to expire, they will not let you through customs in Portugal. And that would suck.
If you don't have a passport or need to renew your current one, go here.
ELECTRICAL CONVERTERS
Portugal, has different electrical outlets. In order to charge your phone or use any electrical appliances, you'll need to purchase an electrical converter. Here's a link to the the correct converter.
CELL PHONE COVERAGE & DATA USAGE
You will have cell coverage. No doubt. But you'll need to contact your carrier and add on an international data plan. At&t has a plan that is as little at $10 a day. Otherwise, you will accumulate a lot of international roaming charges and that will not be a fun bill to get.
C H I L D R E N & P L U S O N E S
Children: We intentionally didn't include your kids in our invites, but we understand ditching your kids for a weekend in Europe can be tough if not impossible. So if the whole family is coming along, just let us know. Please include any children tagging along in the Anything Else section on our RSVP page.
The wedding venue offers babysitting and a large playroom for kids. If you are interesting in utilizing either of these services, email us at LIZTIM@LIZTIM.com and let us know or include it .
Also, if you plan on bringing a family member with you to watch your children during the wedding, we'd like to extend an invitation to them and the children for Friday night's casual gathering.
Plus Ones: Invites went out early, so not everyone was invited with a plus one. But, if there is someone you want to bring as your date just let us know when you RSVP and we will be happy to accommodate you both.
